So I've decided to end my #4CornerWalkAroundAmerica. There were many reasons.

I'm more than satisfied having made it from Santa Monica, CA to Miami, FL.

This website may or may not stay live, and I'm going to spend some time thinking about the direction of the non profit.

When I finally made it to Miami, FL - completing the first quarter of my #4CornerWalkAroundAmerica for the charity HomelessRemedy.org, I had walked a total of 2,932.64 miles. Since beginning the second quarter of my walk, I have walked 185 miles from where I stopped in Miami, FL to the town of Palm Shores, FL on the Space Coast. That makes my total number of miles walked so far 3,117.64.

If you're reading this, then it means that I've successfully walked every step from Santa Monica, CA to Miami, FL.

WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the time of my last blog post, I had walked a total of 2,451.64 miles. When added to the 481 miles I walked between Midway, FL and Miami, FL, it brings the total number of miles walked on the first quarter of my #4CornerWalkAroundAmerica for the charity #HomelessRemedy to 2,932.64 miles.

That's two THOUSAND, nine hundred and thirty two point six four fucking miles.

Well, I finally made it to Florida! I still have to walk to Miami, but considering I started on the Pacific shore, crossing the border from Alabama into the Florida panhandle was still a very special event. Since my last update, I have walked all the way to Midway, FL - just outside of Tallahassee. With a distance covered from Silas, AL to Midway, FL of 272 miles, this brings my total amount of miles walked to 2,451.64.

This post covers the latest leg of my #4CornerWalkAroundAmerica across the entire state of Mississippi, from the eastern edge of northern Louisiana to the western edge of Alabama.  On this leg I covered 238.1 miles. Together with the 1,941.54 miles I walked since leaving Santa Monica, CA back in November of 2013, I've walked a total of 2,179.64 miles in the name of the non-profit Homeless Remedy (www.HomelessRemedy.org).
